I contacted a gentleman online regarding a Siberian Husky, EdwinJR@yahoo, All i had to pay was 200 to western union, which was a travel fee. The Dog was in Kansas. We paid the amount and then was told we missed the flight.... The dog was to be sent off the next morning.  Well the next morning came by, I then get an email and phone call asking for $750 for the insurance.  i was floored, i didnt have that kind of money. then they started arguing and getting angry with me over the phone, finally they hung up on me. I then started to email the previous owner of the dog, he then started saying I was up to something, and all i wanted was the dog. now they are refusing to return my emails and calls, I even offered to pick the dog up, drive 8 hrs for him, they all refused to tell me where the dog is. My kids and I are so upset. my poor son wont stop crying.

And EVERY PENNY YOU SEND IS STOLEN If you wnat a dog, try your local vet, they'll tell you where to find a REAL DOG.

By the way yahoo is a free server. thieves use a free server and fake names, their Name will vanish shortly.

I had about the same thing happen to me.  Except it was a toy yorkie.  Paid them the "traveling fee" then they came back with it needs shots and a new crate and customs at the airport is holding the dog.  It totaled to about 2000 that they wanted from me.  I figured out it was a scam though via western union.  The day after i sent the initial $250.00 fee I got a phone call from western union saying that it was a scam.  Luckily western union had refunded the money.  I should have known it was a scam to begin with seeings i was sending money to CAMEROON.  For a dog that was supposed to be located in Florida or something.  but, i just wanted the cute puppy.

I filed a police report with my local police department just to have it on record. if the people didnt pick up your money western union should refund you.  Otherwise, they cant i dont think.

But, if you saved all the emails, and records of you contacting the seller (via email, phone numbers ect) file a police report.
