Complaint Review: PETCO

I admit I was eavesdropping on a conversation of a "general manager" and an employee were having in the office.

It really made me consider whether I was really wanting my youngest daughter to work for Petco or not. My son worked for Petco whenever we lived in Florida and he loved it there. So when my daughter Rebecca turned 18 she was excited(a little more that a norman teenager should have!) to apply at Petco.

But after hearing how this manger was talking to this employee, I'm not sure I want my baby girl working for this specific manager. He was treating this employee like what she was saying was worthless! He seemed to ignore the meat of her statements and was just BS-ing his way through it so that he could leave. After mentioning this to the cashier they assured me that it was a norman behavior or this GM(general manager). I was informed that Daniel had worked at many other stores before, but most of them were out of state.

I'm just hoping that my daughter doesn't have any issues to bring up to this store's manager, since he obviously doesn't seem to care what his employee's needs are. She applied her application this morning. Wish her luck!
