I used peter greene at automovers europe (automoverseurope.com) to transport my audi R8 from london to marbella.  I originally used him because he quoted the cheapest price, but as I learned the hard way , "if you buy cheap you buy twice" or in this case.. you receive your car 3 weeks late with 10,000 of damage. Peter had told me there was insurance for the car and it would get fixed, but then he proceeded to ignore all my calls, emails etc.. Not only did I not have the car for my holiday but I also had to spend a fortune repairing the car. I then later found out he is about to go out of business as the inland revenue are after him for not charging VAT illegally. I really hope this b*stard rots in hell, ive read numerous bad reports about him since.. I just wish I had done prior to the incident.

avoid PETER GREENE and AUTOMOVERSEUROPE.COM at all costs

I am a friend of the owner currently arguing his case in a number of places as information like "Peter is being investigated by the inland revenue" or accusations that he is a scammer are completely unfounded and most of the bad reports circulating around the internet are posted by a former business associate of Peter's in an attempt to ruin his business .  You can read more on a current discussion we are having on a British expats forum http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=719459

I think you should question Mr Audi R8 about the extent of the damage to his car as I feel the real rip off report should be about the person who quoted him 10 000 euros for repairing a small scratch under his rear spoiler. This all relates to a customer dispute and I do not think labelling Peter as a scammer is appropriate as he is quite capable of supplying references from a whole host of satisfied customers
