Auction A Celebrity Scam

Celebrity fans and celebrity auction bidders beware of auctionacelebrity.com!

Auction A Celebrity, the Australian site run by a Mr. Peter Tsallas, is an attempt to con people and fans of their money by telling people that his company can actually give a bidder a chance to meet a favorite major performer or celebrity by purchasing bid tickets on the site.   Also this company has attacked legitimate agencies setting up false scam sites and even using Ripoff Report acting like our company is the scammer.   He is lying that he has a relationship with major celebrities and he does not.   Our company Celebrity Talent International has filed a lawsuit against Mr. Tsallas and Auction A Celebrity.    Do not be fooled by his attempt to create a false sense of security by his creating fake logos from real companies like VISA

The Verified by Visa logo he is using, Google has labeled as a phishing scam.

A link to see the Moneywise article on this VISA scam that Auction A Celebrity is using to rip people off: http://www.moneywise.co.uk/scams-rip-offs/scams/scam-the-week-verified-visa-con

We know that no major artist or manager has approved that Mr. Tsallas can do what he is doing on his site in any way.  He suggests that a bidder who wins can have time with Eminem, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, One Direction, and others.    He says that a bidder would have a chance to spend time with the celebrities if they spend money buying bid tickets when there is no chance of winning at all.  Although not very professional or creative, Mr. Tsallas and Auction A Celebrity are stealing money from loyal fans of major artists.

He is also suggesting that he has contacted major superstars, which he has not and that $40,000 will be donated to a major charity to obviously try to suggest a philanthropic aspect of this “ponzi type” scheme.

 From the auctionacelebrity.com site

"We have targeted some of the world’s biggest superstars to ask them whether they’re prepared to give fans a chance to get to know them better – donating an hour of their lives to meet up to five fans and at the same time, raise up to $40,000 for their nominated charity.

"

"Maybe you’ve always fantasized about hanging out with one of the world’s sexiest music divas – superstars like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga or Mariah Carey. â€¨â€¨Imagine a candid chat over dinner with style and football icons David Beckham or Cristiano Ronaldo, or even a cheeky cocktail with Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake or the boys from One Direction.

Perhaps the world’s most successful R&B heartthrob, Usher, who has made a sensational transition from star performer to star-maker behind the scenes, is more your cup of tea.

"

His site is very sleazy sounding, but fans may be fooled.  We are a 30 year old legitimate talent buyer and we know as a professional  agency, that Rihanna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, David Beckham, Ronaldo, Justin Bieber and others whose pictures and auctions are on his site have not and would not give permission for him to do this. Also the exclusive managers, and agents for all of these major names, have not given any authorization for what Auction A Celebrity is saying they can do.    Mr. Tsallas has also hired internet techs on how to spam people who disagree with him and he and his site hides in Australia making it harder to stop what he is doing.

He is trying to appeal to comedy lovers and also legitimate business people by suggesting there is a chance to spend time with Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton and others as you see below and we have booked these celebrities and again no one has given this man and the company permission or authorization for any of his auctions or would allow this.

From his site...

Or if comedy is the spice of your life, you might want Jerry Seinfeld to give you a concentrated dose of laughter. Are you a self-confessed nerd? A chat on the future of computers with Bill Gates is something you’ll be bragging about at geek gatherings forever.

Or maybe the ultimate encounter for you involves inspirational figures such as legendary South African statesman Nelson Mandela or popular and controversial former US President, Bill Clinton.

To guarantee the experience of a lifetime, we’ll also turn it into a holiday to-die-for!

Mr. Tsallas is a con-artist, not a legitimate businessman and we feel sounds like a con artist on his site, but he attempts to be cleaver at stating at the bottom of his site to try to stay within the law by saying...we are going to leave you in suspense for now and cannot tell you if the celebrity is actually confirmable...when there is no chance of this at all.

From the Auction A Celebrity Site….

We’re going to leave you in suspense for now and won’t be telling you whether any of the name’s we’ve mentioned above are on board for Auction A Celebrity’s unique experience, BUT if you really need to know each star taking part as we announce them, register for our Star Encounter Alert (link to registration page) and find out whether your long-time dream could possible become a reality!

I warn all who may visit this site auctionacelebrity.com not to send this man money and to let others know about this scam who are legitimate fans of these artists.

CTI should not dignify this con artist in Australia with a response, but as a professional company, we feel we need to let people know about this man if anyone reads his negative postings on myself or CTI.  CTI has a lawsuit on Mr. Tsallas and major agencies are aware of his scam and are doing the same.  His site, www.auctionacelebrity.com is taking money from unsuspecting fans by  selling bid tickets to have a chance to meet celebrities and no agent or manager has given him permission to do this.

Mr. Tsallas came to CTI and posed as a legitimate company and gave CTI a retainer for months of work, but Mr. Tsallas cancelled the project when CTI and other agents told him he could not get any major celebrities to give him access to their social media, without giving at least 50% of the asking fee in advance.   He was not only under financed, but we saw he was trying to sell bid tickets to unsuspecting fans for a chance to meet celebrities without any authorization or any signed agreements to do this. When Mr. Tsallas did not get what he wanted, he then started posting negative things on our company and our CEO.  Unfortunately legitimate businesses can be targeted by fraudulent  people and ones with obvious mental issues. CTI is a very professional company and if you have any questions on our company, please contact us at info@celebritytalent.net, thank you.-The Staff at CTI
