My truck was having service issues relating to the engine. My truck driver took my truck in to the Peterbilt Service Center in Jackson for inspection and repair. Service Manager, Ken Yeager stated he was the man that could handle things for me and would work a great deal. Not the case! This man's ethics are indeed to be questioned. Ken Yeager consistently called me with various issues that he was claiming to find with my truck.

It became so bad with the calls that I asked him for a price to overhaul  the innerframe and he quoted $11,500. I asked if he could atleast get it down to $10,000 or $10,500 but he did say that he didn't think he could but guaranteed me no more than $11,500. A few days later, my business partner, Larry, received an e-mail stating the cost was $13,800+ and that the truck was ready.

It was expressed on numerous occassions that he was not to complete anything on my truck unless he contacted me first but he did not and when I tried to discuss this with him, he blew me off and basically told me if I want my truck I better pay for it. After my driver went to pick up the truck, he was told by the mechanic to make sure the bolt get tightened around the oil cylinder and that he was going to tighten it but was told by Ken Yeager not to do it because he had already been paid.

Not only was the bolt not tighten and leaking oil, no belts were replaced, my transmission is now messed up, no powering steering fluid was added, the truck wouldn't start because the battery had been ran down and who knows what else. I told the driver to leave the truck there and tell them to please fix the truck since it was paid for.

I am unaware of Peterbilt practices but they should be conscious of who works for them because some of their employees who represents the company, give the company a bad reputation as well as a bad name. I would never recommend Peterbilt to anyone and will be filing complaints everywhere until I know that something is done about their practice to overcharge people, especially when they are not local and there to keep an eye on the situation. I have also filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against this company.
