Complaint Review: Peterson Chevrolet Of Boise

I bought my 2005 Chevy with the life time oil changes, expecting that the best place to have my car serviced would be the dealership. I have had multiple problems with them. They have said that I had a nail in my tire and it would probably need to be replaced. I didnt have time that day so i took it to a tire place to find out that there was nothing wrong with ANY of my tires,

I have gone to get my oil changed like clock work, right when i need to and each time i ask them if there is anything that i need to get taken care of to help stop any future problems. They have always said no. Come to find out that my car had needed a new fuel pump filter a 70.00 part which I had no clue about until my car wouldnt start so i took it to a mechanic and had to replace the entire fuel pump a 800.00 replacement.

I called the dealership who told me that they can recommend things but that they do not have to. After two trips down to the dealership and many phone calls they said that if i tow my car there that they will pay for half of the work to be done and nothing else. I told them that i wanted them to give me a vehicle to drive while the parts came in and they said they couldn't.

Three weeks later my clutch goes out on my 2005 vehicle with only 41,000 miles. When they pulled the transmission to get to the clutch they found out that someone had put some type of oil in my break fluid line... (only people that had ever put any fluids in my car was Peterson) they guessed it was power steering fluid, it made the O rings swell in the clutch slave cylinder and so another 1500.00.

I called Peterson to find out who and why someone would have done this and all they would say was "well why didn't you bring the car here so we could look at it". DONT ever get your vehicle fixed there they are idiots!
