In November 2014 contacted Petro Oil to set up a contract for a ceiling price at $3.679 per gallon.  This contract from November 1, 2014 to October 31, 2015.

On December 19, 2014 Petro delivered oil to my home and the charge was $3.489 per gallon.  As anyone knows, the price of fuel has dropped signifigantly.  I could not understand why the charge was so high.  I checked another oil delivery company and found their prices to be $1,01 per gallon lower.

I understand the contract keeps Petro from charging more than the ceiling price, but to charge over $1.00 per gallon than more than their competitors is gouging the customer.

When I contacted Petro and voiced my concerns about the price, I was told they would not lower the price..  Also, they told me their prices were higher because they were a full service compay.  That is true, but I had a premium of $200 for the full service to my furnace.

I believe they have the right to charge a little more than the other companies, but not $1.01 a gallon higher.

I am letting this be known as a senior citizen or anyone trying to keep to a budget, don't make this mistake.  Some companies don't care about their customers.  Their greed gets in the way!
