Complaint Review: PHEAA

 They told me to pay $699.00 and I could split the payments to 3 months. After that they'd make all my student loans disappear and I'd never owe anything. That I'd be "forgiven." Said ahe was right here in FL but none of the emails say that. I asked if they were registered under the BBB and she said no but legal zoom was. So I asked you work for legal zoom and she said yes. Now I'm getting emails from Marc McGee, Levi and received a voicemail.they asked me for all my personal information including social security, credit card number, references etc and I stupidly have that to them.

 I found a link on line about a Obama student loan forgiveness program so I called the number. The woman who answered said her name was Marc McGee she gathered all my personal information address, social, references, credit card number my bank name. She said if i paid a one time fee of $699.00 that all my loans would disappear and I'd never owe a dime. That i'd be forgiven. When I started asking questions about whether they were on the better business bureau she said no but legal zoom was and her company works for them. She said that they were located in St. Pete FL but it doesn't state that in any of the 5 emails I reviewed. I also have a voicemail. She took my credit card number but I have not paid for anything and have blocked my card.
