In March 2002 my car would start and stop so I decided to get this company to look at it.After stalling on the side of the road they towed it in their shop I did authorize them to fix it so that is not the problem .The problem came when I got my bill first I called b/c it was my only means of transportation at the time and the receptionist told me it would be $102.00 I couldn't believe when I asked what the problem was they told me they had to replace a bolt in the battery housing.

So a tow and one bolt later I am wiser never will I ever recommend them to anyone as I hear a lot of very bad stories about them cheating with higher prices for low cost repairs.I did not expect the job to be done for free but I also did not expect for a tow and a replaced bolt to cost this much.My father who was a mechanic for years could not believe it either until I showed him the billing statement I wish I would have listened to others before about them

that was wrong...You were foolish to ask a car dealership to tow your car.

You shouldn't have said that about Phelps. You were foolish to ask a car dealership to tow your car. And if your dad is a mechanic you should have asked him. Car dealerships charge more, because they are in the business of selling cars not fixing cars. If they have to fix it they are going to charge more. EVERY one knows that dealers charge more.

What do you think towing is cheap?

Whenever I got a tow it was easy 50-75. Then they have to figure out what is wrong with your car. Then fix your car. Next time call your dad and have him fix it. 102 is cheap for a dealer to fix your car. I assume the car runs fine now. Grow up.
