Complaint Review: Phenix Salon Suites

Phenix Salon Suites Kevin DavisRosa San MiguelSabrina Raff Jason Rivera Phenix Salon Suites and one of their franchise locations. I paid a deposit for a suite in Mooresville, NC last year in August 2016 with the understanding the location would be open in September. Now I realize there will be problems with construction and inspections to make sure the place is in top shape but it is now October of 2017 and I just heard they opened and no one has contacted me at all in regards to my suite. I have pursued my refund of the deposit on and off since November because honestly I'm so frustrated with it my nerves get tore up, my blood pressure skyrockets and I just about have an anxiety attack. I'm shaking now typing this. I posted in hair stylist forums so now I'm sharing with the public! Encitas California

Fun story for you guys I'm not going to say that you shouldn't rent a suite at Phenix Salon Suites but def don't rent a space in a location franchised by Kevin Davis!! Last year at the end of August I paid a $250 deposit at the Mooresville, NC location under the impression and understanding that the location would open in September 2016 based on the last messages in September shared between Rosa San Miguel and myself. Went all of September, October, November and December with no messages or emails from anyone. Now I know there will be snags in construction and that's fine but it is now May 2017 and I haven't heard 1 word about them opening. I had to threaten a law suit over $250 deposit and lost wages to even get an answer and Rosa made out like she didn't know who I was a referred me to a Sabrina who had apparently took over the location leasing I guess. I have made multiple attempts to get my money back including calling Jason Rivera and getting voicemail and leaving emails. The whole scenario is unprofessional and disgusting that they are dying for $250 that I worked very hard to make and are now keeping from me. It may not seem like a big deal to y'all but it is to me and I don't feel like anyone should be treated this way so FAIR WARNING... Be cautious who you do business with in this industry!! Crooks are everywhere and it's the rich ones who are the worst! Edit to this original post.. It is now October 2017 and I was informed yesterday that they are now open by a close friend. I have yet to be contacted by anyone still.
