THERE IS NO WAY TO DESCRIVE THE TACTICS THIS COMPANY ATTEMPTED TO EMPLOY IN RIPPING ME OFF!

 

WORST PART IS, I WAS AN EXISTING CUSTOMER, BUT PERHAPS THAT'S PART OF THEIR MODUS OPERANDI.

 

I PLACED MY ORDER WITH PHILCAKE AS I HAD IN THE PAST.  THEY PROCESSED IT USING MY CHOICE OF PAYMENT, PAYPAL.

 

APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES AFTER PAYMENT AND RECEIVING THEIR CONFIRMATION OF ORDER I RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING THAT THEIR FRAUD DEPARTMENT HAD TAGGED MY TRANSACTION AND AS SUCH IN THEIR JUDGMENT, I WAS USING A FRAUDULENT PAYMENT AND THEY WOULD NOT DELIVER THE CAKE I HAD ORDERED FOR SOMEONES BIRTHDAY!  NO MENTION OF A REFUND.

I WENT EMAIL BALLISTIC AND WROTE THEM IMMEDIATELY. NO RESPONSE.  WROTE AGAIN, NO RESPONSE.  I THEN CONTACTED PAYPAL AND TRUE TO FORM THEY HAD MY MONEY BACK IN MY ACCOUNT WITHIN 48 HOURS!

FORTUNATELY THESE JOKERS ONLY OPERATE IN THE PHILIPPINES BUT THEY ARE WORTHY OF GLOBAL EXPOSURE FOR THEIR STUPIDITY IN THEIR ATTEMPTS TO RIP ME, AND OTHERS OFF!
