Agree with a previous reviewer: DO NOT do business with Philip Robles or his "assistant" Danilo Kulock (who despite being sold as a brilliant, detail oriented assistant, has an always full mailbox and never replies to emails either). Robles is a confident, smooth, articulate salesman up front--then he evaporates. Will only vaguely answer questions in emails, never takes responsibility for problems, and  does not return repeated telephone calls.

The affiliated Citibank processor seemed inexperienced and unmotivated and the unnamed "underwriter" is blamed for numerous requests and re-requests for information not listed in the initial submittals, that cause unbearable delay. They team botched many additional steps crucial to the  process and did not follow through in a timely way to close the loan. Confusing paperwork is mailed several times a week-- gave up after months and months of torture.

My recent experience with Philip Robles and Citibank: I started on refinance inquiry and process on March 4, 2013 and closed on my new loan on March 22, 2013.  I had no issues whatsoever with Philip Robles during the entire loan process.  I wasn't "underwater" on my loan.  I did my due diligence, I had a lot questions for both Philip and Citibank and all my questions and concerns were answered.  It took 19 days (really 15 business days) from start to finish.  Im aware that everyones situation is unique both Philip and Citbank provided Excellent service and follow through at all levels including the Bank's attorney Law Group.
