On Febuary 17, 2010 I bought a Philips 47" LCD HDTV and believing that Philips has always been a safe and reliable product I saw no need to purchase and extended waranty.  On July 15th, 2011 my TV quit working and after reading all of the complaints against Philips and the ongoing class action law suit, I decided that it's time for me to try and make sure that the consumers of this country are made aware of the absolute corupt dealings that Philips is perpetuating on a daily basis!

It should be noted that my HDTV was only four months and twenty eight days out of a one year waranty which I believe after reading all the other people who have had virtually the same experience, it's time to try and hold Philips accountable.  I'm not only filing this report but I will be contacting and filing with the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General of the U.S. and if at all possible I will be enjoining the current class action law suit.

People have been led into believing that buying a second warranty is the correct thing to do when   holding the corrupt accountable for a product that should be free from defects for at least ten years should be the accepted norm!

"corupt dealings that Philips is perpetuating on a daily basis"

You did not describe any corrupt activity. Your TV malfunctioned after the warranty expired so you consider that to be an indication of daily corrupt dealings by Philips. Wrong!
