Phoenix Executive Group ripoff con-artists took us for all we had -victimized many consumers- waste of time White Plains New York .....

In the past month we met with Richard Gotleib of Phoenix Executive Group in White Plains. I found out through meeting with their competitors that Richard Gotleib worked for Bernard Haldane Assoc. at several times in his career. Why am I not surprised by this new detail????

Gotleib was a very smooth talker, everything made good sense. However,I felt something was wrong, he was too slick, too sincere!!! The lure was appealing and I can see how people in need want success so bad.

He talked about the weakness of my resume, my poor interviewing skills and my ability, or lack of, to find a proper career. He told me my salary was much too low and that he could help me improve that. The biggest lie of all was his carefully worded discussion about the relationship Phoenix has with companies, leads and contacts that I could find helpful. I now understand that this sales pitch is the stock and trade of these scam artists!

Gotlieb had my wife come back so he could feed her the same line of deception. He then quoted me $6500 for all this wonderful service. He must have thought we were stupid enough to be taken in by him and his smooth talk!

I am ashamed that I wasted our time. We are in a difficult spot and need a good job. I am sick and tired of these slick talking liers like Richard Gotleib trying to prey on peoples problems.
How can he be allowed to operate? He should be shut down!!!

In response to personal attack and false implications

I am responding to the commentary expressed here by "Albert"

My name is Richard Gottlieb. Unlike "Albert" I am happy and proud to reveal my full name.

This report was brought to my attention by a client of mine who for no other reason was concerned about the negative and false implications made against me. I thank him for that.

Upon reading this I immediately went back to my files. For the two month period prior to the January 20 date cited here, I found no "Albert" from White Plains, NY, that I met during that time. The author is, therefore, either a fraud or someone wih an alternative agenda. His assertion that "con-artists took us for all we had" is strictly for dramatic purposes and is a total falsehood. He is certainly not a client that ever paid me one cent.

In my 20+ years of career management and executive search experience, I have helped hundreds of people, many of whom are not clients. I have received scores of "thank yous" from those who chose not to partake in our services, yet were grateful for the help and counsel I provided (at no cost).

Rather than respond to these scurrilous implications, I challenge "Albert" to have the courage, decency and sense to rectify this situation. Otherwise, I have no choice but to do whatever is prudent to stop all this.

Also, I suggest the owners of this web site do their own "due dilligence" about allegations made. No one from "Rip Off Report" ever contacted me. In essence, anyone with any type of agenda (be it a competitor or otherwise) can say anything about anyone with no regard to truth or reputation - a very dangerous practice.

For those of you who know me and my work I thank you for your continued support. I wish all those in distress about their careers good fortune.
