Phoenix Executive Group ripoff, misrepresent, dishonest, misleading, scammed Iselin New Jersey
The Phoenix Executive Group (PEG) does not deserve to be in business. They have yet to provide me with a list of satisfied clients and their numbers so I can reach them, honestly I dont think there are any. I refer to their website that have testimonials, but each testimonial seems to be letters from people they have lost touch with them over some time, and feel obligated to write to them regarding their job find.
I went to this company to get career couseling, I left scammed and cheated, they charged my card and said that a refund was no problem. They knew I was hesitant so they sweet talked me, touting themselves on a huge network, claiming that almost everyone that mattered in the office was some big HR VP in some of America's TOP corporations, and that they had a network that I was sure to benefit from. NOT TRUE!
They certainly cannot help all that much academically, since you do all the work yourself, they offer to rewrite your resume but you actually do ALL the work, basically you don't need them. When I realized that I wanted out of this deal, I cancelled. Paul Jacob, who had agreed to a full refund of my money, passed me off to Larry Maglin, who didn't return my calls, until the point I was frequently dialing 7324523333 trying to reach someone, the secretary would make excuses, then Larry finally answered my call when I called 7am knowing that the office hours didn't start until 8am, he answered! Larry after some fuss agreed to my refund, asking that I write a letter that says that it wasn't HIS fault that I was leaving, that it was my own choice and not their fault! I wanted to get my refund so I did what they asked, to find out that they refused my refund with a letter in the mail, they mailed me a cancellation policy that I had 3 calendar days!!! and that I had cancelled on the 4th calendar day that I was out of contract! I was shocked. They RIPPED me off! I am still in dispute with my credit card company fighting them...I feel embarassed that I was duped and hope that this never happens to anyone else. Now they want to avoid me like the plague...
They stress that they are part of the BBB, with a satisfactory rating, guess what they have only been a member for the last few years and in business for 14 years, scamming people for more than a decade. I'm sure. If you want dirt on them, the BBB does not offer any, basically one hand washes the other, and consumers are the only ones at RISK. Beware!!!
