Phoenix Executive Group scam! Duplicitousness rip-off! White Plains New York
It looks as if this scam has move from New Jersey to White Plains, New York. However, Larry is still running the operation. The Phoenix Executive Group contacted me when I found them in the NY Times Employment section and sent them a CV. They said they wanted to interview me about a potential job and asked if I would come to White Plains. I asked for directions from Grand Central and the time I should expect to travel. They said 35 minutes, including the bus I would have to take upon arriving in White Plains.
As it turns out, the train ride took well over anhour. The bus did not run after 9:45 (it was after 11:00 when I arrived), there was no listing in the directory (either 914 or 800), and the taxi would not take me to their address because it didn't specify a building number in a (I found out from the driver)huge complex of buildings.
When I got home and started to research this company, I found that there have been a lot of complaints and scams attributed to them. So to all of you reading this--BEWARE of them--it's a scam to get you there and sell you services you don't want.

The day this happened to Nancy, she called us. I listened and apologized for any inconvenance to her. I checked with the transit lines and the total trip from the city should be 1 and 1 half hours not 1 hour. Our directions were updated at that point. According to the Transit person I spoke with the shuttle bus was running that day, but maybe it was not right there when she got off the train.
Our main number was on the directions she received, but maybe she did not have them with her. As for her opinion our company, it is based entirely on what is on this site, it does not give the whole picture or an accurate picture. Ms. Nancy has not had any experience with us except for some outdated directions. She was very upset when she called and was listened to. We thank her for correcting our directions to our attention.
