Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions, Phoenix Hard Parts Yet another victim of Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions! Phoenix Arizona
On 7/2/08 I purchased a rebuilt HD transmission with extended warranty ($3020) for my 2002 Dodge Diesel pick-up - After numerous phone calls to Gabriel, the transmission was finally received 5 weeks later - Unfortunately, there was no torque converter sent with the transmission - Once again, after many phone calls and being told several times that it had been shipped, I received the torque converter approximately 5 weeks later
I took my Dodge truck to a shop (which is my only vehicle) for installation - Only to have it installed and find out that PRT had sent the wrong year transmission
Once again, called PRT and was told to ship the transmission and my core back to them and that they would reimburse me for the additional incurred labor charges plus the $750 core charge - once they received the tracking number they would ship me the correct transmission ASAP -
Another 3 weeks went by, without a vehicle, when I finally received the transmission, only to discover that it was not a heavy duty rebuilt, but only a standard rebuilt transmission - I had paid an additional $800 for a HD transmission-
As of 11/12/08 I have yet to receive the core charge/labor charges - After several days of calling and only getting a busy signal, I researched this company on the internet and was shocked and outraged at what I found out about PRT and its reputation and customer service
These people at PRT are truly rip-off artists - And after 400+ complaints to the BBB, Frank Kuperman and his cronies should be in jail & prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law- I hope the Attorney General of Arizona has the balls to do something about this slime ball......And to think this man is still doing business in Phoenix, Arizona is an outrage!

Some possible good news about PRT. The Arizona Attorney Generals office had filed a civil lawsuit against Frank Kuperman, his wife and numerous LLC's he runs. Cross your fingers. Everyones' time and effort is hopefully going to pay off!!!
