I asked for the service to be disconnected on 11/23/2008 I was contacted by 2 different representatives on 11/25/2008 to confirm that I wanted the service canceled and the # disconnected. I also confirmed on their website on 11/25/2008 that I wanted the service disconnected.

Now it is 12/1/2008 and they have charged me for another month. I call up and they tell me it takes 15 days to disconnect the service. Ok fine whatever, I ask will I have my money prorated due to the fact that I won't have the service for the full month..

I am told no they don't prorate. Now this makes no sense since I was/am (since at this time it is not disconnected) signed up for their unlimited minutes plan that was $49.00 a month which I guess with tax comes to $50.93, this meaning I owe them nothing nada zip zilch. Yet they say that they will not prorate the amount after disconnection of the service.

The complaint issue I am having is there is no way a company can charge a full months worth of service if they know ahead of time the person is not / will not be using that month. Especially since there can not be any charges added due to the plan that was signed up for. (basically unlimited minute plan means owe nothing after already paid right)
