photopoint ripped me off too!
I have used photopoint for the past 2 years to host photos for auctions on ebay. The beginning of this month I paid an annual fee to continue to use this service and they took my money and about 200 of my photos that I can't replace and ran! I am infuriated that they did not give notice that they were closing so I could have at least saved my photos.
When they became a paysite I wasn't going to pay for the service, so they blocked me from getting my pics. They said I would have to pay the annual fee to have access to them or they would destroy the pics themselves. So I paid, decided since I am paying I will keep using the service - and now they are gone!!!! Major ripoff. I hope they don't get away with this.
