PHOTOPOINT SCREWED ME WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A KISS GOODBYE!

I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF PHOTOPOINT.COM FOR OVER 2 YEARS. AS MOST OF YOU WEBTVERS KNOW, THERE ARE NOT MANY PHOTO SITES THAT WEBTV CAN USE DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE CAN NOT DOWNLOAD.

I STARTED OUT USING PHOTOPOINT FOR ALL OF MY EBAY AUCTION PHOTOS, AND WAS VERY PLEASED. SO, WHEN MY GRANDSON WAS BORN IN MAY OF 2000 I WENT CRAZY CREATING HIS VERY OWN ALBUM.

I HAD OVER 150 PHOTOS FROM BIRTH TO THE PRESENT WHICH I CONSTANTLY ADDED TO AND SENT TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I DID NOT HESITATE WHEN PHOTOPOINT ASKED ME TO START PAYING $19.95 A YEAR, I THOUGHT THIS VERY REASONABLE FOR USING THEIR SERVICES SO LONG FOR FREE.

I HAD NO IDEA THAT THE SITE CLOSED DOWN UNTIL MY PHOTOS WERE NOT APPEARING ON MY AUCTION PAGES. WHEN I COULD NOT GET INTO THE WEBSITE I THOUGHT MAYBE THEY WERE HAVEING TROUBLE AND THAT IT WOULD BE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN SOON. MUCH TO MY DISMAY I FOUND THAT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL.

I AM HEARTBROKEN AND ANGRY, NOT BECAUSE THEY TOOK MY MONEY, BUT BECAUSE I CAN NEVER REPLACE THOSE MEMORIES THAT I CREATED OF ONE OF THE MOST WONDERFUL EVENTS IN MY LIFE BACK AGAIN. I JUST WISH WE HAD THE CHANCE TO MOVE OUR PRECIOUS PHOTOS!
