Complaint Review: Photovideo Network

We found photo video netwok on the internet, a rep came to our house in Yonkers and we agreed to a package costing $1400 with a deposit of $710. This package consists of 6 hours of video, camera edit/dvd transfer and photo montage.

Our wedding was July 08, when i called to view our video i was told i could only come mon-fri between 11-4, if i did not make an appointment straight away i would be charged a storage fee for ever day our video was there.

When i viewed the video i noticed he never got any fotage of myself or bridal party arriving at the church, you can not hear our vows, he constantly got in the photographers way (photographer was not connected to photovideo network), and in general made my guests feel uncomfortable all day, when i complained i was told "what do you expect us to do about now we can not re-shoot it"

The next suprise i got was an additional charge of $900 for editing, they said i paid for camera editing but not standard editing, only someone in the business would know the difference. When i asked to speak to the rep that came to my house it was very convenient that he no longer worked there.

After a lot of discussion and me threatening to call a lawyer they agreed to drop the price to $400, i paid because i was sick of dealing with them. I left my selection of photos for the montage and a disc of 5 songs and the order i wanted them on video.

I really was not suprised when we got video and the music was all mixed up they left off songs we wanted and added one song we never heard of before. The standard is terrible a friend with a camcorder would do better. It is the only part of my wedding i regret. Please do not ruin your wedding memories using these scam artists they are very unprofessional!!!
