Complaint Review: Pick Up And Go Moving International

Pick Up And Go Moving International is a fly by night moving company that is not insured and not authorized to be in operation, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.  They have a reputation of scamming customers by overcharging their credit cards, damaging items during moves and not compensating customers for the damages they caused and not even showing up for moves after customers have paid a deposit.  This isnt a surprise considering the owners of the company, which are Antoine Johnson and Kimberly Maddox.  Antoine Johnson has had a number of failed businesses in recent years, such as A&J Entertainment in Charlotte, NC and most recently had a business in Mooresville, NC called K&W AutoInternational, which also had a similar reputation to Pick Up And Go Moving International.  If you do some researchyoull see the president, vice president and secretary for the companies wereall the same people.  President Antoine Johnson, Vice President Kimberly Maddox and Secretary Mary Barber.  Pick Up And Go Moving International simply rents moving trucks from local truck rental companies, such as Penske and Budget, and uses them for their moves.  They do not own any trucks and you will never see their company name on any of them.  They rely on the insurance from the trucks they rent to cover your move, as they are not an insured company like I mentioned earlier.  Once they have scammed and angered enough people with this moving company, they will close up shop and open some other business in the Charlotte, NC area so they can continue their devious actions.  Please beware of these people now and in the future and make sure to never do business with them unless you would lie to be a victim like so many people already have.
