Do not use this company. The owner, Steven Lamour is a sneaky liar. In June 2018, my neighbor and I chipped in to put a fence between our properties. My neighbor also had additional fencing and a gate put on the front of their house. We gave Steven a deposit. On the day his workers showed up, it was starting to rain. They didn't bother to check the weather.

They asked if they could leave all the fencing on the grass so they wouldn't have to bring their trailer again. My neighbor consented to this, since it was her grass. They didn't show up for days. My neighbor and I were calling the office number and Steven's cell number to complain. The woman at the office kept putting us off, and Steven never answered his cell phone again.

By the time they came back about 4 days later, the grass died from all the weight of the fencing material - a very large area. When the workers finally came back, my neighbor could not be home that day. I told my neighbor I would stay home to watch the workers. They arrived having no shovels or a ladder. I had to borrow a shovel from a neighbor, and had to give them my ladder, which they got filthy with concrete and dirt.

As they were finishing I saw one of the workers put one of their advertising signs on my neighbor's fence. It looked ugly, but the worker did it so fast I didn't have time to think about it. When my neighbor came home, she was furious about that sign. She told me she would not be paying her balance of the bill until a new gate was installed.

The sign was put up with 4 large screws and left 4 holes. Steven eventually replaced the gate, not wanting to lose the over $2,000 balance from her. In March 2019, my landscaper damaged my gate with his mower, and agreed to pay for a new gate. I called their office and Steven came to my house to give me an estimate. I agreed to the price.

I reminded him of the issue we had with the sign on my neighbor's gate. He acted like he didn't care, telling me he just used the gate for someone else that didn't care about his sign. He calls me over a week later to tell me that his workers are behind schedule and he will be coming to install the gate himself. I told him I had a doctor's appointment at 11AM, just when he wanted to come.

I told him if I wasn't home to knock on my door and my wife would give him the check. I also told him to leave the old gate there, and NOT to put any signs up. He agreed. That was my big mistake - trusting a contractor to do a job without me present to supervise him. When I got home he was gone, and guess what ? He drilled 2 holes and put his advertising sign up on the area next to the gate ! Not only that, the sign was crooked!

Since this area was on the top rail and the posts are cemented into the ground with cement in the posts, it would be major surgery and very expensive to replace that top rail. This lowlife insisted on what he thought would be free advertising, after I specifically told him not to put up any signs. If I was home and saw he did that, he would have never gotten his check. That's what you get for trusting a contractor.

Steven is a game playing con artist. I called him to let him have it. First he tells me that it must have been a misunderstanding, he thought I didn't want it on the gate. Then after I was yelling at him that I don't want his sign on the gate, and that I now have 2 holes in my gate, he tells me I should get some chalking and fill the holes myself! Then he gives me this lame excuse telling me that they have to put up those signs!

He's the owner, he makes up his own rules! No body orders him to do this, he does it for free advertising ! He got off the phone, with my check, telling me to try to cover up the holes. Do not use this company or deal with Steven Lamour.
