Complaint Review: Piero Skincare

I ordered the L'Etoile skin care and Illustra eye serum believing that I would only be charged $4.95 shipping and handling. Nothing on the website http://letoilecream.org/ showed anything about additional charges, timelines, etc., and the terms and conditions link only directed to another product. Upon receipt of the product, there was no additional information about terms and conditions. On 11/23/16, I discovered that my credit card had been charged $89.29 for L'etoile and $98.09 Illustra. When I called the toll free number provided with the product, I was informed by the rep that it was too late to rescind the charges but instead was offered 3 months more free trial of monthly shipments on both products with no shipping charges. At the end of which, unless I've cancelled subscription by deadline of 3/7/17, monthly charges of $24.52 for Illustra and $22.32 for L'etoile (total $46.84, i.e. 75% discount) will become effective. On 12/22/16, I called again as no further shipment of product had been received. This time I was told that the original rep had given me incorrect information and the only thing the company authorizes is one more supply of products for free. After this, I would be given a 75% discount for future orders until the membership was cancelled. A 'supervisor' then confirmed what this call's rep had offered, which was unacceptable. I was then provided a cancellation confirmation number. This is a total ripoff.
