Pik-A-Pup Kennel Avoid this place like the plague Holliston Massachusetts
Do not do business with these people. In a weak moment following the sudden death of our beloved dog, I purchased a basset hound puppy there. Within 5 days, he began coughing, though I was assured he had just been vaccinated for kennel cough. He went on two antibiotics that didn't stop it, The woman I spoke to on the phone there told me the antibiotics my vet had prescribed "weren't strong enough for the kennel cough they always have there" and said the puppy needed something else.
When the cough didn't improve, he had X-rays and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I spent close to $400 in vet bills. Their 14-day viral guarantee is very misleading, read the fine print they say they only pay for medication. I received one check from them for $28.
I also had a heated exchange with the owner, Barry Charton, after which it was clear to me he is in this strictly to make money. I told him I will make every effort to put him out of business and I will.
I was also supposed to get the puppy's AKC papers in the mail, still waiting. Don't support puppy mills, don't buy from this creep.
