After reading a glowing review www.luminous-landscape.com photo website, I decided to give PIKTO Books a try.  Their website advertises services catering to the professional and fine art photographer for boutique book publishing services at competitive albeit expensive pricing.  My order was sent via electronic ftp and paid for in full, a delivery date was promised, that date came and went, finally 3 weeks later, the order arrived, printed incorrectly, with numerous errors and mistakes, very unprofessional and substandard work.  The worst was yet to come however.  PIKTO would not honor a refund, no policy for refunds is stated on their website.  They chose to reprint the order, but offered no time line.  Its been 2 months since the order has been paid for in full and still nothing.  Communications with PIKTO is awful, untimely and unprofessional is the norm.  Please beware of this company who has no business ethics when it comes to customer service except to offer a litany of pathetic excuses.  PIKTO is not to be trusted at their word. They don't seem to worry about their reputation professionally speaking, assuming they can rely on favors from kind reviewers.  The internet can be a notorious source of bad information, and I found this to be true of the glowing reviews that I found on PIKTO, Inc.  My experience was indeed costly, and wish that I'd missed the review at www.luminous-landscape.com
