Pimsleur Approach Also feel I have been tricked, and told there cannot be a refund or return on product sent. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I signed up for the "free trial" being offered online via internet, and received one box of cd's which I opened and the invoice read Free Trial, order total $0.00. I had just started my retirement process at work and got sidetracked and forgot about it for awhile. Planned to get to it later. Nothing due, so I let it sit. One day I checked in a shed next to the house for something and there was another box! I didn't know the mailman had left it. He does that sometime when a package won't fit into the mailbox. But usually he leaves a note. I had no idea how long it had been in there. I set it aside also, I admit I should have opened it but I didn't. Then I get a bill in the mail from Stroll (which is how they represent their selves) for $256.00. Well, I called the company and figured I'd just return this stuff and get things straightened out. I was told I could not return the product, the boxes would not be accepted, and would be shipped back to me and that there could be no refund! I was shocked! I said that they can't make me pay for something I hadn't really ordered. I just want the free trial to check it out. I hadn't realized the costs that was being incurred. I admit I should have read the fine print, if I seen any. Regardless, I should be able to return these cd's. I hadn't opened or played them. Do I have no recourse here ??? Can this company do this? I'm sending them back anyway, with a letter not to send anymore cd's to me, and I'm contacting the BBB. If anyone has any information on how to report this or any other information I sure would appreciate it!

i too was very shocked to receie a box in the mail with a tab for 4 payments of 64.28 which was never mentioned. was told i had 30 days to try this and ifi didn't like it to return it. the person i spoke with gave me a return number to put on the box when i returned it. was very helpful young lady i had no idea it was going to cost that much. i am suppose to get e-mail confirmation on the cancelation but i have yet to receive it. but i do have the confirmation return number and the fed ex reeipt showing i returned it unused.

The company Internet Order LLC, has sent me a UPS return label, and will not charge me the monies they were trying to collect. I had contacted the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and also sent the Internet Order LLC a copy of that complaint. The company has done right by me and I wanted to let everyone know. Don't accept what others tell you without a fight.
I won't do that again, the "Free Trial" thing! I have learned my lesson! Satisfied and thankful,

" Do I have no recourse here ??? "
Virtually every "free trial" offer has strings attached. You either have to return items or cancel a service within a specified period of time or you've bought in to the offer. You should always assume that these "strings" will be spelled out and read them carefully before accepting a free trial offer.
