pimsleur approach Deseptive marketing Internet, Pennsylvania
I wanted a few Spanish lessons just to see if this was a method for me. All of a sudden they billed me $256.00 for stuff I nev er ordered. they claim that by ordering the small course, I accepted their offfer. at the minimum this is deceptive and fraudulent. This is scam marketing to try and get you roped in to a crap program.
The worst part is the course are terrible! they aren't worth the cd's their burned on.

I found this on the order page of their site:
Pimsleur Rapid Fluency Purchase Program: One month after you receive your Quick & Simple you'll begin receiving 30 day trial copies of advanced Pimsleur courses in the language you selected. Each course is yours to try for 30 days. You'll receive a new course once every 60 days. For each course you keep we'll bill you in four monthly payments of $64. Remember, there's never an immediate obligation to buy any course because of the 30-day trial period provided with each shipment. And you may cancel future shipments at any time by calling 1-877-802-5283. See Key Details.
There are further details and instructions on their site.
Be sure to cancel before you get billed again.

Sir, go to their website - all terms and answers are there. Your complaint does not fall into the scam category. You need to understand the terms and how the system works before making such a claim.
Online accounts carry a history, check yours. If your account was compromised then maybe you have just concern.
