What a disaster. I bought a beautiful wedding gown from a store I will not mention here. Pina was suggested but not recommended by the bridal shop since they are supposed to have experience in doind alterations. That was my first mistake.

I should have walked right out the door when I was met by the owner herself, Pina. She looked me up and down like I was a poor uneducated mess. She acted as if her stuff didn't stink and told me that I would be wasting my money to do alterations on my dress and it was junk. I had a $2000+ Demetrios wedding gown that was silk before Pina destroyed it with her untalented team of hacks. The store was well kept for styles stuck in the 1990's. I looked as if  the merchandise was used or just old stock. I felt like I was in my mothers closet with the styles. I would not recommend this place for the latest fashions even though they are on Las Olas Boulevard.

I left the dress for them to work on after being insulted because I needed it soon for my wedding. I was told the gown would be done in 5 days, but it actually took 2 weeks. When I came back to try it on at the end, it was only 1 day before my wedding and the dress did not fit. The hem was 3 inches too short and bust area was 4 inches too small. The seamstress told me that she hemmed it according to the way it was marked by Pina. Pina then came in to tell me that "You must have gained wieght". I told her, "Did I also grow 3 inches too?". She said, "I have been in business for over 40 years and you are just being difficult", walked out of the room and did not want to help me anymore.

I was told that the dress could not be let out and that I would be stuck with this. Pina came back into the room and gave me a bill of $350 for the alterations done and demanded that I pay and leave. I left and made a quick dash to a local bridal store to see if I could get another dress before my wedding. I was so sad because this was not the gown I wanted for my wedding. It ruined my special day and I would suggest to anyone, "Do not get your alterations done by Pina, you will regret it".
