Pink Ladies Power Paid for booth at the "Tenth Annual Holiday Bazaar" for Pink Ladies Power - Cancelled without notice and Booth Fee never refunded Atlanta, Georgia
In a nutshell, Pink Ladies Power advertised on the Internet for their 10th Annual
Holiday Bazaar to be held at the Atlanta Sheraton on December 12,
2009.
Back in November, I submitted an application and I paid a $257 booth
fee to participate in this event. I received an email stating that my application had been accepted. However, when I showed up
for the event it was not taking place. The events manager of the hotel said he had spoken with a representative from Pink Ladies Power about the event, but papers had never been signed. Although I have requested a refund several times via fax and emails, to this day I have not gotten my money back.
When their phone number is working.I leave messages. No one ever returns my calls. Emails are sent, but no one responds. I believe these people have scammed me and have no intention of returning my money.
Organizations like this need to be stopped from taking advantage of the public.

Pink Ladies Power has been a major sponsor for the Atlanta Holiday Bazaar and other events throughout the State of Georgia for several years. The Atlanta Holiday Bazaar is just one of the events we work with. Unfortunately, you would need to contact the coordinator of the Atlanta Holiday Bazaar event directly for Vendor Relations.
PLP is sorry to hear that you had a less than perfect experience with the event you signed up for, however, to publish that the organization is "ripoff" or takes advantage of the public is false. This organization works with hundreds of young girls and women each year, providing education, mentorship workshops, and other events to enrich their lives socially, academically, and otherwise.
