I ordered 4 items from John Pinkerton and immediately sent full payment to him via postal money order. Since the items were custom ordered, I was understanding as far as time-frame went, so I only contacted him monthly. After about 3 months, I began inquiring as to a more specific time-frame when I could expect my items. He responded to my e-mails and online posts with promises that he was working through his back log and hoped to get items out to people by the end of the month. After a while he began to make excuses: "my computer was hit with a nasty virus and I lost all my contacts and order information," et cetera.


It has now been a full year since Pinkerton has received payment in full for my order, and he is ignoring all of my attempts to communicate with him. I have remained very polite with him, and expressed that I wished to resolve this issue between us, even stating that if he could not complete the order I would be amenable to a refund or even partial completion of the order and a partial refund. I have hitherto received no reply to these reasonable requests.

Now it seems that I am out a few hundred dollars, and John Pinkerton can pocket my money and continue stealing from others with impunity. I have since come across numerous reports of other people being ripped-off by this man, in the same exact fashion.
