Pinnacle security sold me an alarm system to use in a rental property in Moab, UT. They sold me a package that was supposed to be able to be activated by connectivity to the internet. I was supposed to be able to arm and disarm the alarm via a push of the button over the internet. It did not work.

They returned to the property 5 times over several months to repalce faulty hardware which prevented the alarm to work, and prevented the web arming/disarming to not work. I paid for the alarm service for the months it worked, and many other months it did not work. I quit paying the bill after Pinnacle refused to send anyone down to the property to repair the system and make it operational.

Pinnacle then sued me. Although I had them monitoring my business and home, they refused to send the rental property bill to my home. They send the notices to a vacant rental, and eventually got a court date assigned and a judgement against me, all without me ever knowing anything about it until after the fact. Pinnacle Security knew me, had 3 differnt properties being monitored by me, and pulled a fast one by sending information to a vacant property that got the mail checked a few times a year.

Had they talked to me directly about wanting to get paid, I would have talked to them about a solution to make the alarm work, and me pay them. I refuse to pay for a service they did not provide.

Now I am in the process of going back to deal with the courts to get my fair day in court to give them my side of the story, and clear my name.

I will never do business with Pinnacle again, and would never reccommend anyone do business with them. They failed to deliver a working security system, or to be reasonable about working out a solution with their faulty equipment.
