Complaint Review: Pioneer Computer School Of Visual Arts

I just read the Rip Off Report against Pioneer Computer School of Visual Arts. I was searching online for their web site because I needed to contact them about my certificate that I still have not recieved. I was supposed to go to Pioneer for Graphic Design AND Web Page Design but unfortunitally they closed down right after I completed the Graphic Design course and before I could start Web Page Design. I too want to express my opion.

I first of all want to say that I had NO problem with ANY of my teachers at Pioneer. I think that they were all wonderful and very knowledgeable, I learned a great deal from them and I am very thankful for that. I also want to say that I did not have a problem with anyone that worked at the school, after all it was them that helped me to fall in love with the school and enroll right away. When I learned that the school was shutting because of lack of enrollments I was very upset. Traveling 45 minutes every Saturday morning to go to school all day isn't easy for an 19 year old when all of her friends are sleeping in and hanging out at the beach, but I did it because I enjoyed going to Pioneer.

My ONLY complaint is that I have still not recieved my certificate that was promised to me over a year ago. A few months after I recieved a letter stating the school was closing, I went online to contact Pioneer to find out where my certificate was and could not find the website because it had been shut down as well. So, I contacted the Department of Education and could not reach anyone. I left many messages and also emailed many people before I finally got a response days later, and was promised that they would help me. I did not recieve any help!

Over three months ago Pioneer contacted me and told me that they were re-opening if I was interested, but I had already made plans to attend another school for Web Page Design. They accepted that, and promised me that they would send me my certificate right away. I STILL have NOT recieved my certificate.

Again, I have no complaints about Pioneer I thought it was a great school, I just want my certificate.
