The worst company doing business on the internet today. My wife ordered a gun safe from them and it did not work properly.  We ended up sending it back to the manufacturer and requested a full refund from Pistol Accents.  After numerous e-mails back and forth we were finally refunded $224 of the $299 that we paid.  Pistol Accents, says they kept $74 as a restocking fee. What did they restock? Nothing! The product was not returned to them and in fact they were given a refund through the manufacturer for the unit that I purchased.  I sent them an e-mail on 11/8/14 asking why they held back money from us and I got no response. I sent another e-mail yesterday and I received the following e-mail:

"Read the Terms of Service on the site.. There is a fee for refunding with no exchange.. We pay a percentage to MC/Visa , the gateway and also the transaction fees when a sale is made, these cost will not be absorb for a refund.. Also we pay fees for refunds. Its pretty simple. Also your nasty email response when I said once we see the credit from the mfg you will be credited, you said in a previous email "you don't care if we have to wait for our money"  Well you are wrong my friend. We are not owned by Gun Box they will tell you anything, but when it comes to our money we had to wait and it wasn't 48 hours like they said. Our refund policy is usually within 30 days.We did credit you within that time period. We tried helping you with the mfg and we also weren't happy with the mfg and decided to drop them as a vendor. We sent emails to the mfg and kept you in the loop. We also contacted you to make sure they were helping you and sending the label to exchange as promised. We have to pay fees out of our "hard earned money" as well.. At checkout this was explained and a link is provided for you to see the terms of service. And a check box showing you read the terms. Next time you write to the BBB please make sure you tell them that you placed the order, read and understood the Terms of Service checked the box and proceeded with the sale. I know you read the terms several times because you dictated it to us about the 30 day return and you were within the time frame. You missed the part that all defects will be handled via the mfg and No refunds will be made."

Again, stay away from doing business with this company.  There are many other ethical Gun Shops out there that do provide outstanding customer service and that do not treat you like an idiot.  If you do decide to do business with them, buyer beware!!!

We are not a manufacturer of any product sold on the site. At check out we have a link to see our Terms of Service. We also have a check box before you go any further with the sale that you need to check stating you read the terms of service on the site.

Your wife placed an order for a Gun Box it was shipped, after a couple of weeks you had an issue with the box and you were referred to handle the warranty claim through the manufacturer. We also followed up with you after a couple of days to see if you received your label to return a "defect" box. You had advised at that time they (The Gun Box) never sent the label. We then contacted them and also cc'd you in the email about the label. A label was made and sent to you. The manufacturer sent us an email and said they would handle you from that moment on and we are no longer a factor in the situation. Another box was sent to you. You decided you didnt like the product.

We get an email from you demanding a refund for a box returned to the manufacturer not us. We told you we need to get a refund from the manufacturer first, Once that happens we would refund you per the terms of the site. Your response was " I really dont care about you getting your mony back I want mine back" Well that could not happen because we dont know if the  box was returned, if the box was damaged when it was returned and it was not returned back to us.

Our site terms for refunds are. Refunds are made within 30 days upon us recieving the product back. The product wasnt sent to us it was sent to the mfg. We also had to follow up several times to make sure we received the refund from the manufacturer. The (The Gun Box) decided to no longer do business with us because I was complaining for you the customer about not getting the label out when promised and also the problems of the first box and how non confident you as the customer was of the product.

We received our credit and you received your credit as per the Terms of The Site. We paid the fees for the sale, the gateway fees and the transaction fees, labor for packing, packing material an so on. All these fees add up . Thats why we have a 25% return fee for product that is returned and not exchanged. Items that are exhanged we dont charge fees thats just the cost of business. Gun barrels are Non returnable. This site sells guns parts and accessories we need to be careful on returns and / or exchanges.

We did try to help you fom the beginning . We did follow up to make sure you were getting taken care of. We also answered emails that you sent us. The problem was you didnt like some of the answers. And you were upset that your wife spent sooo much money on an item. I am sorry Mr. Robert Armstrong that you feel this way its nothing personal its just business. You were also well aware of the sites Terms of Service
