In July 2003 a Sales Rep came from Pitney Bowes trying to renew our lease for our old machine. The person who is authorized to sign the lease agreement was out of the country. We explained to him that we are not authorized to sign any lease agreements.

The Sales Rep. started telling us about the new machine that had came out. He started to explain to us that the new machine would be cheaper than the old machine. So we signed a form ok'ing to have the new machine install and not knowing that he was making us sign a lease agreement.

Two days a later when the authorized person came back and looked over the papers he mentioned to us do you know that he made you sign a lease form. Which we said no since we really didn't know that we were. We called the Sales Rep right away and told him to cancel it and that we did not want to lease the new machine. He said he would cancel it. Which he never did.

We received the new machine was amazed as to why we it came. We called Pitney Bowes to tell them to pick up the machine they didn't. Called the Sales Rep and found out that he no longer works for Pitney Bowes.

Ever since than they have not picked up their machine and cleared our account. We have sent them several letters explaining the situation and they never respond back. Finally in February 2004 we called to cancel our services with them. We were told that it takes a couple weeks to cancel and to have someone pick up the machine.

Now, is its April and we received statement showing Past Due. I called and spoked to the Customer Service Dept and asked them what is going on she said that you are being billed for the new machine. We were so upset that I told her off.

It's really pain not getting this resolved. Having to go on a run around. She told me that it cannot be canceled and that we have to pay settlement. We told her that we are not going to pay anything. She said that she will have someone pickup the machine and send us to collection. We told her that's fine and that we will send them a legal notice.
