Complaint Review: Pittenger Roofing and Construction

Pittenger  Roofing and Construction requested and was given 50% deposit ($6568) on siding and roofing jobs, totalling $12,936, at my home. He ripped siding off house, installed most of the new siding, but left many things undone.  Lights, shutters, remaining siding to be hung, downspouts on ground, subpar work on siding he did install.  He left 3 piles of debris in my yard, killing the grass.

He has disappeared. He does not answer calls, texts or messages. I have called, texted, left voice messages pleaded, begged even threatened with court and yet noone has come to finish the job.   I retracted  the roofing job.  He has proven he has no integrity.

He should return or send someone to fix the subpar work already done and complete the job to my satisfaction.

I want the balance of $1,318 refunded to me. The difference in the deposit of $6,568 proposal ( $5250 for siding, $7686 roofing) ) since I will not continue with the roofing job.

If I cannot have the siding and all undone things done to my satisfaction, I want a full refund of entire deposit of $6568 and I will have a new contractor rip the new siding off and redone properly.  I will not accept more bad workmanship from Pittenger Roofing and Construction.
