Pixel-Mags Failure to pay fee Norco, California
We were hired by Pixel Mags to create two website designs and a logo for their various products. We had several meetings with them prior to starting the design work. After the first presentation, which we presented a dozen or so logos and website designs, they gave us feedback and we went back to the drawing board. This was totally acceptable and even expected.
While we were creating new designs and logos we asked for additional direction but never received any so we continued on more designs.
On the second presentation we showed work that was based on their direction from the first meeting. At that point they completely changed the direction they gave us from the first meeting and decided to do the designs themselves.
After several attempts to reconcile payment, we ultimately decided on our own to cut our fee in half and amicably part ways. We invoiced them again for the reduced fee. which has since been ignored.
We have not received a penny nor even the slightest acknowledgement of their intentions.
