I tried to order a pizza by phone, I was told they would not deliver to my home. When I asked for a reason, the manager said "since it was a franchise, he did not have to give a reason." I was shocked.

I have been a Pizza Hut customer for over 10years, I never had any problems. We immediately called the 800#, they said they would find out what was going on, and someone would call back....but, no one ever called back.

I then went online and sent my complaint over email, and requested contact....again nothing. I have sice went to the Corp website 3 times....nobody has ever responded.

My family was the biggest Pizza Huts fans until this, but for now we will spend out money smewhere else. I still can't believe we were denied delivery service, I am even more amazed with the total lack of customer service from Pizza Hut.

diff stores have diff delivery areas

Dear disgruntled Customer,

I have been an employee of Pizza Hut for 4 years, i have ran into this problem many times, with different reasons. You stated the store said it could not deliver to your home, well of course there are many reasons for this. It could be you were calling the wrong store - diff stores have diff delivery areas. It could be a suspected dangerous neighborhood. Or maybe the store has recieved a bad check from the residence, or the residence is a known "problem maker", there are numerous reasons, however pizza hut reserves the right to refuse service to anybody. But calling and going online is not going to get to the bottom of the situation, you can go the the said store in person, that way they have to tell you something, or goto the area office. Just call and ask the name of the "area manager" whatever you do, go in person to talk to someone...if all else fails, everyone is allowed to pick up their pizza at the store, its called "carryout". But during very busy times, some stores will not deliver far far away...it slows down operations, and with rising gas prices- employees dont get paid enough to afford going that far, most employees use their own vehicle...
thank you
