I was employed by this company from June 3 to June 24 and I have never been paid- I was a commission only employee, the office shared commissions and I was entitled to 15% of the gross profit.

There was a problem between the owner and the office manager that became such a problem in the office that it had become unpleasent to work there. On the 17th of June, the office manager was fired for "dicussing business" with the owners husband. I was then subsequently promoted on the 21st of June to Branch Manager based solely on my performance.

At that time I had earned no less than $1400 (most likely more) in comissions on Job orders and Employee placements. I came into work on that Saturday to help organize the office and I left my breifcase there. When

I came in on the Monday, the 24th, Lisa (the owner)had the contents of my breifcase on her desk and wanted to know about everything that was there. (I've used that briefcase for over 4 years and had no idea of some of the stuff that was still in there) She acussed me of being a "Spy" for the ex-office manager and her/Lisa's husband and fired me without pay- saying "Without any of those placements having been billed for (because she fired the person who did the billing) there are no checks to cover my commission and since you (me) are no longer employed here- when the checks do come in you (me) are not entitled to any commission on them."
