We went to The Placer County Bar Association in hopes of having them fairly arbitrate a dispute over $12,000 in legal fees. Mr. Robert Sinclair was appointed or volunteered to arbitrate. He stated in his findings that the attorney, Mr. French, was completely wrong in his legal premise and we spent $51,000 in legal fees for the wrong work. However, Mr. Sinclair still awarded Mr. French the legal fees because he did the work. The legal profession is the only profession in the world that feels it deserves to be paid even when it is wrong.

Mr. Scott Christensen, the 2012 acting President of the Placer County Bar Association and another PCBA member attorney, Mr. Keegan, both sided with Mr. French.

It appears to us that this ole boy network is not interest in justice or fairness, only the best interest of the lawyers. This really sickens us how attorneys take advantage of the consumers who have no knowledge of the legal system and the landmines they need to navigate.
