They presented a seminar where they made us (my wife and I) have fear about our economical future and that we needed to create our own business (10-oct-2006 - in Orlando Florida).

They told us that many people grew from 3 to hundreds of their machines and ensured their economical future.

They told us that the profits were of more than 100%. This is not true because of the products that expire before being sold.

They showed us figures about what they said were national average profits for the machines. These were very misleading because the machines from Planet Antares are smaller. They said that: The medians for snack machines were: $3,004 a year. The medians for drink machines were: $3,282 a year.

According to them, with three refreshment centers, we should have about: $19,692 ($3,004 * 3 machines + $3,282 * 3 machines).

We had the machines for more than a year, and in the moment of writing these lines, we had $800 in our account.

My wife and I paid $21,899 for 3 refreshment centers. Each refreshment center includes Soda Machine, Snacks Machine and Exchange machine.

They give us a list of references to call. None of those references live in Florida then we can't be sure if they were real. I asked for references in Orlando or at least in Florida, and they refused to provide them.

They told us that if a location (where we place the machine) has more than 35 people, then it was ok having a machine there. This is absolutely false.

They also told us not to charge rent for the machines in order to place many machines in many locations. They are only interested in selling more and more machines, even if we lose money.

When we told them all these problems, they asked us to put an Ad to sell the machines in the local news paper. However, this announcement is misleading to future buyers because it says that we sell the machines for personal reasons, not because is a bad business.

What we want is to have our money back ($21,899), plus a compensation for the time that we lost trying to make it work.
