I am currently a member at my local Planet Beach in Orange Park, Florida (FL0024). I tried out the platinum package with spa treatments. I am a 34 year old male that has never used your company's type of services before and I must say that with the experience I have had with my local franchise I will never be using it again.

I noticed on your company's website that there is a "30 Day satisfaction guarantee" and I am interested in how this works.  I would like to be released from this membership immediately.

My wife has been a member, using the basic tanning offered, for quite a while. As a way for us to spend more time together, I decided to join and we both started using the "Spa" treatments together.  For the 3 weeks that I have been a member there has been one problem after another.  We seem to be having the hardest time being able to make and have our appointments kept by the local franchise.  It is one excuse after another as to why they are unable to "keep us on the books" or "not over book" our sessions.  As if that is not bad enough, now the equipment is not being maintained.  The "Hydration Bed" is constantly "out of water" when I try and use it.  The tanning beds are not being sanitized after each use.  on one particular occasion, I was waiting to use a bed, another member came out, and I was immediately asked to go ahead in and use the equipment.  I had to request that the bed be "wiped down" and sanitized.

Needless to say, I am not pleased with the service provided.  My local franchise owner, Kath, has been unable to assist me with the "Satisfaction Guarantee" stating that "well, according to your contract, you have to pay for four more months before you can give me a 60 day notice to terminate".  It has been less that 30 days since I joined and not even a calendar month has elapsed.

Please help me, I am being taken advantage of by your company in Florida!
