We were moving from NY all the way to CA, and we found this company online. We had other moving companies giving us offers, but the estimate this company gave us was cheaper than the others, so we went for this one. They loaded all of our stuff into the truck and then asked for $1500 more than the estimate! We agreed to it, and flew over to CA. Now, we are still living in an empty house, and it has been 14 business days, and our stuff still hasn't come! We have tried calling them, emailing them, even faxing them, and they haven't answered at all! The lady that answered our call once, said that she would forward this straight to the dispatcher, and the dispatcher hasn't called either! My daughter's schools are starting soon, and we still don't have our stuff, and this is going to be a problem, because she needs all her school supplies like her calculator, and her computer. This moving sucks, and don't ever use it.

Moving Truck came right as their 21-day policy was coming closer.

We got our stuff, the day before my daughter's school was about to start. It was also the last day, within the company's policy of 21-business-day delivery. It took too long, but we finally got our stuff.

Thanks for your help.

We finally got our stuff to our location in California, on the 21st day, which is in their policy. It still took too d**n long to get here, but it finally came.

Ok - we are in the middle of a mess with Planet Van Lines and the following agencies were and are being contacted for solutions:

Your local police (where the original move took place), the State Police because it involves a commercial vehicle, the original state attorney generals office, FMCSA - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Admin -VERY IMPORTANT TO TALK TO THESE PEOPLE AND FILE A COMPLAINT-. They are the licensing agency (888-368-7238) and are waiting to hear from you. BBB, Internal Revenue Service- might like to hear about the cash payments and the multiple contracts double and triple the original - file fraud and whistleblowers, the South Carolina state attorney general office, the Myrtle Beach police, FBI - possible internet fraud. GoogleEarth the "corporate" headquarter in Myrtle Beach and you will come up with a storm drain with a restaurant nearby - no moving company, the South Carolina state troopers, and we are looking into Homeland Security. Also, file all complaints immediately and contact your new and old congressman (an FBI agent suggested this) and ask that these complaints be pulled and given priority as more complaints are being filed almost daily against this company. Last, you can go on the White House website and file a complaint. The more they hear Planet Van Lines the more likely someone will pull the plug. Good luck.
