I rec'd a cheque #5672289 from FreeLotto @ $2 dated July 18'03 for my quarterly winnings. I deposited in my $US bank account on Aug 11'03,well within the 90 day time frame. In today's mail, I rec'd notification that the cheque was RETURNED. The reason for return was NON-SUFFICIENT funds.

I have now been charged the $2.00 US for the returned cheque PLUS an add'l charge @ $3.00 US for the service charges on returned cheques for a total of $5.00 US.

Plasmanet Inc now OWES me $5.00 US

How can you offer a multi-million dollar lottery, but not be able to cover a cheque for $2.00?

I have sent this mail with copies of the cheque & the Returned Cheque Statement from my bank, the Royal Bank of Canada, but they have been returned due to the attachments. I sent the email without attachments, all returned by PostMaster Direct. I can send you copies.

BBB cannot be trusted, then the whole network of BBB's should be taken into Federal control.

The proper url for the New York BBB is

http://www.newyork.bbb.org

However you will find absolutely nothing there about PlasmaNet - very odd for a business based in their bailywick!

However, if you follow the link to the National database, you will find a list of grievences and relative numbers of 'resolved grievences'.

You will not find any *real* details about these, and I doubt very much the accuracy of the figures!

There is much more on the subject of local BBB's on the 'Bad Business / Rip-Off' site which makes amazing reading. If only a fraction is true ( and I believe *personally* that the percentage is very high indeed) then the whole network of BBB's should be taken into Federal control. Immediately - if not sooner!!!!! This is one place where private enterprise cannot be trusted to be impartial.

First, I must say, it is not secure to share personal account information such as check/cheque numbers or any others similiar. This site appears before the WWW, and turns up in every search engine major or not. You never know how that information might be used for fruadulent practices. This kind of information is only of use to law enforcement.

Your information regarding any case of any kind should not be offered to just anyone. It is not anyone who has the legal right to review and assess that information. Evidence is for the Courts and Law, someone else might use it against you in a scam, outside of these areas.

There is a possibility you might be sending your information to the wrong department, which may not be professional enough to transfer to the correct department. It could be they're a crappy business, and just plain don't care.

It is entirely up to you to determine how much time and money you want to invest into a $5 charge. If you are driven on the principal of the matter, I can respect this choice.

Since you did not have much in the way of contact information, here is some:

PlasmaNet,Inc.

Domain name: Freelotto.com

Registrar: Tucows, Inc.

Whois server: whois.opensrs.net-referral

Freelotto.com

420 Lexington Ave., Ste. 2025

New York, NY 10170

If you decide to write a letter, this name might be of use to you: Mr. Kevin Aronin, CEO

If you can afford the long distance phone calls:

1-212-375-6208

or FAX: 1-212-931-6761

This company has an alleged bad reputation. Casino's are not the most ethical places to frequent in the world. If you win, they will ask you for all kinds of personal information, and you may not get your entitled winnings, which is the case the majority of the time.

If you want to confront them, go ahead and give them a call, fax or write, but be careful. For the $5, your phone bill may turn up higher or faxing, mailing and processing may run you into other fees as well.

You can access the onlineBBB at http://www.newyork.bbb.com and enter "Freelotto.com", into their search section to review their report, and find more information there.

They're just a flaky little corporation, don't let them cost you any more money, than they are worth. ;)
