Complaint Review: Plastic Resource Group

Tyler Harrell wrote an agreement to produce a product in 8-12 weeks. He did not hold to that agreement, produced no product and kept leading me on convincing me that the product was yet to come.  He took $4700 to provide this quick production of my product.  After 2 years of excuses, I got nothing.  I asked for a refund and he refused saying that he had put good time and effort into the project over the two years of delays. 

During my very kind and cooperative relationship, his vice president and three of his employees quit over night because they didn't want to be associated with such a rip-off company.  In the end he admitted he did not have the capability to produce my product.  I filed a report with the Kansas City Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau (of which they are not a member due to their many complaints filed.) 

If if had to do it over again, first of all I would never deal with PRG, but I would never send the entire amount asked for.  I should have sent 1/2 the money to get started and the balance on delivery of the product.  Let this be a lesson to you too.  Never give the entire amount asked for up front.
