They almost got me!! I ended up talking to about 4 people before I could cancel the "voice-mail service." I never gave them any account numbers, fortunately, but they were going to put the $12.95/month payment on my phone bill!

The operators speak very, very fast and try to confuse you. I never okayed the voice-mail to my knowledge. Somehow when I was verifying my address for them to send me information (and supposedly my "already approved" Platinum Mastercard), I also said yes to the whole thing. Watch out!!

I kept telling the woman, "I do not want any voice-mail service. I am not signing up for anything. Do not bill me for anything." She said it was a free, trial offer and if I wanted to continue I would be billed $12.95/mo. Said this even though I had just been told the $12.95 would show up on my phone bill. I just kept arguing with her, and telling her I do not want the service. She hung up on me.

I called the voicemail customer service line and found out I was still signed up. I cancelled, the operator gave me a cancellation # and now I just have to wait to see if they try to bill me.
