I purchased a Platinum Millenium product to learn how to sell eBooks. I was billed twice by Ty Cohen - once through Paypal and once through a mastercard - and then never sent the product. When I realized it, several months later when I was reviewing my credit cards and found the duplicate bill - I called. They sent the product they charged me $1100 for TWICE and it had nothing of value to me -- it was all information I either knew or didn't need EXCEPT the key piece -- how to convert files into eBook compatible ones.

 

I tried contacting the support desk. I asked for my guaranteed money back -- it was less than a week after I'd received the product. I was refused.

 

I asked for a refund for one of the duplicate charges -- we're talking $1100 here -- and was refused.

 

I contacted the BBB in NC where he claimed to be and found there were so many complaints, but not only in NC, also in CT and NY, that they had them centralized in CT -- but they couldn't find a physical address to track him down.

 

He's a scam artist. It's too bad he has sickle cell anemia, just goes to show that people with genetic diseases who learn to be manipulative are that much more dangerous.

I contacted an attorney who filed a proper complaint letter -- and had no place but the internet to send it b/c of the false addresses -- the PO Box in Garner, NC will get you no where fast

 

We're pursuing it with the FCC but it is a slow process

 

Don't be fooled like I was.

 

Ty Cohen is a crook. He stole over $2200 from me.

 I did NOT PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP, I purchased the product I was double billed I showed them proof on my credit card statement They refused to refund I still want refund - I returned the product not even a week after receipt I called the phone number provided - someone or something answers, doesn't say anything, them hangs up Not unexpected from such a shady operation -- I still think Ty Cohen is a crook! I'll be happy to update you if I ever get by double payment back -- over $2200!
