On January 14, 2017, In response to a Facebook add about how to make money writing e-books for Amazon and Kindle, I was directed to a webinar that wasted over two hours of my life purporting to give me everything I need to become a writer and publisher for e-books for Amazon/Kindle. As it happened, after getting an outline of what to do it simply turned out to be a pitch for his "system" that cost approximately one thousand dollars. I declined to take advantage of his "opportunity" and hit cancel before the transaction was complete. I made NO purchase at this time, yet my Paypal account was charged $549.99. I did NOT receive any sort of confirmation email with a transaction ID or amount of the purchase on it. I immediately tried to contact TY Cohen/ Platinum Millenium at Support@platinumMillenium.com and was taken to a landing page with Chinese writing on it. When I click on some of the comments, one actually read " Where can I find my VA Hospital?" I tried this over 20 times and was always re-directed to the same BOGUS landing page. I received No product, No access, No valid transaction receipt and No help!!

I contacted the Office of the NYS attorney general and they were great. They gave me an enumeration of the criteria used to ascertain if a digital media product meets criteria for either fraud or for a refund due. Platinum Millenium/Ty Cohen are scammers - PERIOD. STAY AWAY from this man or anything you see him or Platinum Millenium connected with. The Office of the NYS Ag suggested that I first contact my card and report the transaction - which I did. I called Paypal to report this charge as fraudulent and they at first claimed that they had No details of this transaction with either the bank that issued my card or Paypal itself. I explained the situation and they agreed that there should be no charge to my account. They said that they would contact me within one week with a resolution and that my card had a zero balance. Fast-forward one week.

Today, January 21, 2017, I received an email from Paypal stating that I OWED $549.00 - For What?? I contacted the bank that issued my card once again, and they me that they never received any transaction information from any vendor and yet there is a $549.00 balance. I opened a fraud investigation in regard to this transaction and don't suspect it will lead anywhere as the customer service reps and fraud rep were both evasive and kept changing their obviously scripted information. I will not tolerate anyone STEALING from me and will pursue this as a criminal matter with the NYS attorney general and with the Office of the Attorney general in North Carolina if I don't immediately receive some kind of resolution, i.e complete refund, etc. Support@PlatinumMillenium still redirects me to a non-support page and offers no mechanism for support of any kind. I suspect that they use a Shifting IP address that brings you to a different site each time. I expect no less than a full refund and an appology.

Crooked Marketer Ty Cohen

#2Consumer Comment

Sun, January 12, 2020

This company and Ty Cohen is the epitome of online crook, taking advantage of people desire and fear in order to profit their pockets, leaving them more desperate.

The modern practice of teaching people how to make money online is the new Ponzi scheme, where everybody is doing the same thing, repeat the exact same thing of what some other person they learned the information from before to another person, thus creating more competitions for themselves for the process to repeat all over again.
