Platinum Point Securities Inc., Droplet Measurement Tech I received a check in the mail for $4,980.00 from Droplet Measurement Technologies Morriston Ontario Canada
I receive a letter in the mail with no return address. After opening the letter there was a check enclosed for the amount of $4,980.00. The check was drawn on Colorado Capital Bank. The company name on the check was Droplet Measurement Technologies. There was also a letter enclosed from Platinum Point Securities Inc stating that I was a winner of a shoppers sweepstakes held on May 5, 2009. The letter stated that I needed to contact a gentleman by the name of Lewis McGregor before cashing the check, he phone number is 1-647-834-5692. I never called so I don't know it the number is good. I did do some research and I found that Droplet Measurement Technologies does exist, however when I google Platinum Point Securities Ripoff Report popped up! When I saw that I was sure this was a ripoff.

Droplet Measurement Technologies was not involved in this scam. Our account at Colorado Capital Bank was comprimised, and someone took our information and printed their own Checks. The signatures on the checks have never been employee's of this company. The account was closed immediately upon finding out it was comprimised. Droplet Measurement Technologies has been a reputable company for over 20+ years. We sell specialized Instruments to the Environmental Research Community. We are in no way shape or form affiliated with Platinum Point Securites. See our Website for any information you may need regarding Droplet Measurement Technologies and what we do. Thank you.
