I was making a move, and called several companies. "Imperial Relocations" seemed to have everything I needed. I spoke with "Joe Miller", he assured me the movers would arrive early, and pack everything carefully and professionally.

The movers arrived in Rented Ryder trucks, not moving vans, late in the afternoon. They paid no attention to anything I said, because they couldn't speak or understand English. To their credit, they were polite, but had no idea what I was saying.

At twelve midnight they were still here packing and loading. They finally left after two in the morning. It was a nightmare night for my family.

My things were placed in storage for a few months, and as my house sale fell through, I called to have my things returned.

Their name had now changed to "Platinum Relocations", and I was a bit put off by this, but they promised to return my belongings.

They arrived in the same fashion, very late in the day, and just dumped everything in my living room, kitchen, and dining rooms. Many antiques and pictures were broken, and all items were not returned. Nothing was put in it's proper place, or even unpacked, and many were missing.

I contacted "Joe Miller", and he said my things were indeed there, but I would have to come to California and get them myself. He will do nothing to return them, and has even dis-connected the phone.

This few months of storage, breakage and stolen items cost me over $17,000.00, and now I have to make the trip to California and attempt to locate the rest of my property.

If you are planning a move, please check the movers out, I thought I had done my homework, but obviously not well enough.
